Cookie Policy

Iconic Business Owner

Effective date: 27 October 2026

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels and tags. Some support security or a requested service; others measure visits or support advertising and affiliate attribution. A cookie can contain an identifier and may involve personal information even if it does not contain your name.

Services and purposes

The website uses WordPress and Google Site Kit. A Google tag was present in the homepage HTML at our review on 27 October 2026. Google Analytics can use identifiers such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits and maintain session information. These are examples, not a verified inventory of every cookie stored in your browser. Their actual presence and expiry depend on configuration and consent settings.

WordPress may use login, authentication and preference cookies when those features are used. Embedded third-party content and external affiliate destinations may use their own tracking. A link to another site does not mean every cookie used by that site is placed on an IBO page.

Consent

Simply visiting or continuing to browse this website is not treated as consent to optional cookies. Where the law requires consent, optional tracking requires an informed affirmative choice. Strictly necessary technologies are assessed separately from analytics and advertising.

At the date of this review, a functioning on-site cookie preference control had not been verified. We have therefore removed the earlier statement that a category-based cookie management tool is available. Browser controls described below are not a substitute for any consent controls the website is legally required to provide.

Your choices

You can inspect stored cookies and their expiry, block third-party cookies or delete site data through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect login or other requested features. Deleting cookies may also remove saved preferences.

See Chrome cookie controls, Firefox tracking controls or your browser’s help pages. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. These tools do not necessarily prevent every form of third-party data collection.

Third-party information

See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s cookie explanation. When you leave IBO through an affiliate link, review the destination’s privacy and cookie notices. Read our Affiliate Disclaimer for how referral commissions work.

Updates and contact

We will revise this notice as our verified tracking setup changes. A policy update does not itself obtain consent for new optional tracking. For questions or concerns, email engage@iconicbusinessowner.com. See our Privacy Policy for information rights and complaints.
